Blackseeds And Weight Loss

April 1st, 2008 by admin

Black seed is a type of wonder or cure-all herb that has been used for thousands of years in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Also known as “the blessed seed”, it is a rich source of good oils, in a similar way to flaxseed. It is said to be good for a number of ailments and general health such as eczema, arthritis, organ function and respiration. Studies have also shown that it boosts the immune system and has powerful anti-bacterial properties.

Like flaxseed, it is available in raw seed form and also oil form. I do not recommend buying seeds that have already been milled because they lose their potency as soon as they are broken, even if they are in protective packaging.

But What About Blackseeds And Weight Loss?

Unfortunately, there is no firm evidence that blackseeds are effective against weight loss. Some people try to peddle these as a possible cure but the truth that black seed will not have the weight falling off you.

Instead, I would recommend that you look into newer therapies which are still 100% natural but have been formulated in a lab and clinically tested. Proactol, which was recently featured in British newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, is one such new therapy. You can find out more about how Proactol works here: Proactol - How It Works.
